What Button does what?
Red Button - Incident Button: -
- Press the Red Triangle to Save & Protect a video file to the SD Card

- Press & hold the Blue button for 5 seconds to turn the Wi-Fi on

SD Cards - Why are they so important - Oil to the engine?
This is what you need for Full HD Video and Image Quality: -
- U3 & Class 10 SD Cards Minimum requirement
- Class 10 is Video Compatible U3 is the Read & Write Speed
How SD Cards work in a Dash Cam: -
- SD Cards continuously loop record
- Once the SD Card is full up of recordings, it will rewrite over the oldest recording first
- Any files that are protected by a gyro sensor activation or an incident button activation, these are not overwritten
- Protected files can only be overwritten by formatting the SD Card in the settings or via a computer/laptop
- Eventually the SD Card may become too full of protected files - The Dash Cam will speak to you "Please format the SD Card"
- It is good practice to format SD Cards every month or two, as per the Nextbase instruction manual

What should I look for in a Dash Cam?
The most important factor to consider when choosing your Dash Cam is video quality, so Nextbase has specified the 380GW with Full HD 1080p resolution and 30fps lenses to capture every detail as your independent witness.
Where does the footage get stored?
Dash Cam footage is stored on the Supplied 32GB Micro SD card allowing around 4 hours of footage to be stored. The Dash Cam will then archive this footage and start recording the next 4 hours footage.
Does the Dash Cam have GPS and Wifi?
Yes, to both. The 380 is equipped with GPS to track your journey's location and speed, logging this with each video file. It's also equipped with Wifi allowing you to access and transfer your video files using the Cam Viewer App
Does the Dash Cam record sound?
Yes, the 380 Dash Cam records audio to compliment the video recordings, with built-in microphones. This feature can also be muted and switched off if you prefer.
Will the Dash Cam drain my car battery?
No, it won't. The 380 Dash Cam is powered by your cars 12v battery when the car is on, and it also has a rechargeable battery module that powers the Dash Cam when the car is ignition is off for Intelligent Park Mode.
